greek is hard.

i found this photo online just now... it hasn't a thing to do with this post... but i think its just lovely.

so yeah greek is going to be pretty hard.

i memorized the whole alphabet the first day... now i'm trying to perfect my matching of symbols and the names... its difficult to master lowercases AND uppercase letters with names...

also its difficult that the name of the letter is not also the sound the letter makes in most of the cases...

thats a difference from english i really don't like.

but yes... i made flash cards and i've been quizzing myself.

now i'm going to read this first chapter and do the homework :)

i'm sorta pleased because i should be one of the smarter students in the class considering everyone in there pretty much wants to be a pastor or something... so they aren't necessarily at the top of academia.... this means the prof will be teaching at a level understanding of people who aren't necessarily the biochem bunch.

which is good news for me... because he'll go slow.
