what i'm taking to school

i think that what a person takes to school with them is very telling ...

i take:

nutmeg.

paper cranes.

a suitcase filled with linens.

25 throwing darts.

a handful of feathers.

sweaters.

dresses.

a painting.

my bird lamp.

a broken shutter.

a drawing my mother did of bob dylan.

books books books books books.

bird cage.

a 60's tv tray.

pillowcases.

15 assorted handkerchiefs.

a rice cooker.

handwoven rug.

a box of assorted inspirations.

paper triangles.

basically i feel like i don't even have a brain for the essentials...

making coasters and fabric napkins has been on the to do list months longer than shampoo or printer paper...

and i like that i am this way.
