the occasional foodie


alright all.

so now that i have my own kitchen... i've been really experimenting...

TODAY for lunch i had penne in my own version of a brown butter sauce.

I used: 
British Squash
Mushrooms (from the CAF baby)
Penne Noodles
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Gorgonzola Cheese

While Boiling the water for the noodles... melt the butter on low... 
add a PINCH of salt to the butter.
Cut up the squash (or zuchinni yum) into 16th lengths-wise slices and allow to simmer in pan with butter...
add chopped mushrooms.
Dash of Pepper
melt a small bit of gorgonzola cheese with the noodles and vegetables.

drizzle over cooked noodles.

the flavor is stinkin amazing.

sooooo good.
